Celestial Adhaan captures part of a live stream of Earth taken by satellite imaging from the International Space Station. The moving image is accompanied by a layering of the Islamic call to prayer, emanating the ceaseless cycle of the prayer and its connection to time, and the cyclical nature of the universe.

The frequent pauses in the live stream highlight the presence of modern technology along with its limitations, whilst the call to the Islamic prayer ‘Salah’, which can be interpreted to mean ‘connection’, echoes on.
